Christian Guitar Hero is free to use. Just download the notes, then integrate them with the Christian Guitar Hero software, at this point frets on fire, and you are on your way. If you don't have a song in MP3 format from your original cd collection you can download song files that sync up with Christian Guitar Hero notes through the Amazon Associate Store.

Steps to Get Christian Guitar Hero on Your PC

1. Download Frets on Fire
2. Download Audacity - (to convert music to correct format)
3. Download note files: DC Talk - Jesus Freak and Petra - Beyond Belief
4. Extract the "DC Talk - Jesus Freak.zip" file to
   "C:\Program Files\Frets on Fire\data\songs" folder.
5. Convert MP3
   • Open a song file e.g. Jesus Freak.mp3 in Audacity
   • Chose File > Export and select "Ogg Vorbis Files"
   • Save in "C:\Program Files\Frets on Fire\data\songs\DC Talk - Jesus Freak\song.ogg | This will overwrite the blank song that already exists in that location
6. Note: If you get a missing file error about msvcr71.dll you can download the fix here and put it in the games directory
